- Hindquarter control
- Round yard skills
- In hand bridle skills
- First saddling

Jason has packaged the starting process for your convenience. This process will take approx
6 weeks (30 sessions) depending on the horse and the riders ability.

Jason has started horses of all breeds and all disciplines for all outcomes be it for competition, dressage, racing or pleasure. Jason also works one on one with the owner to ensure that the transition is smooth and the outcomes desired are successful for horse and owner. Jason is an ethical trainer and uses an holistic approach without compromising results but rather sustaining the horses future with such a solid foundation.
In June I purchased with a little trepidation an unbroken highly spirited 3 year old Warm blood Gelding by APH Spiegel. He had the looks and movement to make a great horse but had never even been tied up or even seen a float. After talking to Jason McInnes , I decided to send the horse by carrier straight to beautiful Yarck and let Jason deal with him and make him into a 'real horse'!
Jason was amazing! His continual phone calls kept me updated and I was never in any doubt as to where the horse was at. After six weeks I received the news that he was 'ready' to go home and that he was going well.
I arrived at Yarck to find the horse tied up waiting for his turn to be worked. I saddled and bridled him while he literally 'slept' then took him into the round yard. Jason was brilliant in translating how he communicated with the horse and showed me some excellent skills using 'ground work' techniques. It was difficult to imagine that just a few weeks earlier I had delivered a completely green youngster. I was delighted with how well the horse was going under saddle. He was moving nicely forwards off my legs, had a lovely mouth, was good with his transitions and was now the perfect gentleman.
